Argument between Two Cops Escalates Gunfight(NR 14-150 )

The PNP leadership condemns in the strongest terms the alleged shooting incident that transpired between two cops that led to the death of a civilian.

The PNP, nonetheless, assures the public that this incident is an isolated case and that the actions of the police officers involved are a disgrace to the organization and do not reflect the ideals of a true police officer.

Furthermore, the PNP extends its condolences to the family of the victim and vows to seek justice for Isidro’s untimely death.

An ongoing investigation is being conducted by Angono MPS. Both criminal and administrative charges are now being readied against these two police officers and if they will be found guilty, they will be held accountable for their actions and appropriate sanctions will be imposed against them.

The PNP leadership reiterates to all its personnel to act and behave like a true police officer. As the primary law enforcement agency in the country, it is their duty to uphold the law at all times and not the other way around.
